The Feminist Art Project is a national initiative celebrating the Feminist Art Movement and its impact on art history and contemporary art practice. Our purpose is to bring public attention to the significant and continuing impact of women and their art on all aspects of contemporary art practice, highlighting their international influence, and guaranteeing their inclusion in the cultural record, past, present, and future.

Through the Flower is one of the ten founding program partners of The Feminist Art Project. The project began with a handful of feminist artists, curators and historians who recognized that now is the time to rewrite art history to acknowledge the importance of feminist art and provide future artists with an education in the depth and breadth of women's achievements.
